Legoland Theme Park Malaysia, costing RM720juta in Medini, Nusajaya near here, is scheduled to be fully operational in 2012.
Chief Executive Officer IDR Resorts Sdn. Ltd., Mohd. Zainal Ashikin Muhammad Rajab said, was the first theme parks in Asia is now in the process of leveling works involving an area of 30 hectares.
"Upon completion we will begin leveling the land and building construction work related.
"Early next year the overall construction will be done to complete a theme park that could attract visitors and tourists," he said.
Mohd. Zainal said after celebrating the special children from the Association of Children's Mental retardation Johor at Red Gertak here recently.
Ceremony held in conjunction with the Christmas party to celebrate it with the lego games.
He said the theme park will be filled with green trees will be costume made with a model structure including the Sultan Ibrahim Building, Buildings, Datuk Jaafar Muhammad, Abu Bakar Mosque, Istana Besar Johor and the Sultanah Aminah Hospital.
"We expect to explore the entire park is it at least requires two days to explore all segments of the game," he said.
Mohd. Zainal said the existence of the theme park is not just for commercial purposes and make profits, but also generate economic growth in the Iskandar Malaysia to provide job opportunities to more than 1,000 people.
About the ceremony celebrating the special children, it is one of social responsibility that it was also able to feel the fun lego game.
"This is because the release is a game that sparked the creativity and we also want children with special needs can feel the warmth of Legoland Malaysia to be fully operational in 2012," he said.
